Our case studies
The Ahrefs charts on our homepage are real, unedited screenshots from websites our own team runs. We show them because we proved the approach on our own properties before selling it.
They are illustrations of what happened on those sites, in those niches, over those periods. Past performance on our sites does not predict results on yours. Your niche, competition, product and existing authority all differ.

The reviews on our site are real words from real beta customers, published with permission and with domains masked. We publish critical feedback alongside positive feedback rather than only the flattering quotes.

Search engine guidelines and risk
Search engines treat paid placements and sponsored content differently, and their guidelines change over time. Any link acquisition — done by us, by another agency, or by you — carries some risk that a search engine may discount a link or take action against a site.
We work to place articles on genuine, real-traffic sites with relevant content rather than on link farms, precisely to reduce that risk. We cannot eliminate it, and you engage us understanding that.
